Pack 99 Pinewood Derby

Cub Scout Pack 99 (Omaha NE) - Pinewood Derby - April 2023

Weigh-in/Inspection - TBD - 5pm-8pm - SVDP Kitchen
Pack 99 Pinewood Derby - TBD - 1pm-3:30pm - SVDP Gym
- Scout Division - only Pack 99 cub scouts participate - this is the standard set of races
- Open Division - open to brothers, sisters, Moms, and Dads of Pack 99 cub Scouts - same rules as Scout division, just open for other participants
  - this is a short set of races held after the Scout division
  - bring your open division cars to weigh-in with your regular cars
  - one additional car per sibling/parent

Scout Division - each car will race 6 times - once per lane. The cars will be ranked based on best average time down the track.
- Trophies will be given to the top 4 overall winners (regardless of scout rank)
- Trophies will also be given to the top 4 overall winners within each rank
- All participants will receive a ribbon
Open Division
- Trophies will be given top 4 overall winners
Coolest Car
- Trophies will be given for the "coolest car" - 1 trophy per rank
- Derby volunteer staff will determine the coolest car based on creativity and craftsmanship
